A,B and C are partners in proportion of 36,26 and 16 respectivley. D was admitted in the firm as a new partner with 16the share. Calculate the new profit sharing ratios of the partners.

Calculation of new profit sharing ratios:

Let total profit be =1

Share given to D=16

Remaining Share =1−16=56

Now the old partners will share this remaining profit in their old profit sharing ratios:

Hence,

A's Share =36 of 56=512

B's Share =26 of 56=518

C's Share =16 of 56=536

D's Share =16

Thus, the new profit sharing ratio of A,B,C and D will be:

=512:518:536:16=15:10:5:636=15:10:5:6
