The correct option is D 5 m/s
Given :
$m_{A} = m_{B} = 2.5$ kg
$u_{A} = 5$ m/s
$u_{B} = 0$ m/s
$v_{A} = 0$

Conservation of momentum:
Intial momentum $=$ Final momentum
$m_{A} u_{A} + m_{B} u_{B} = m_{A} v_{A} + m_{B} v_{B}$

$∴$ $2.5 (5) + 0 = 0 + 2.5 v_{B}$

$⟹ v_{B} = 5$ m/s
