equal to the weight of the liquid displaced.

C
equal to the weight of the body in air.

Solution

The correct option is A zero.
When the beaker is allowed to fall freely, apparent weight of the body becomes zero i.e. body exerts no force on water. Hence no water is displaced due to weight of the body. So buoyant force i.e. upthrust will also become zero.
