It is given that A body starting with a velocity ‘v’ returns to its intial position after ‘t’ second with the same speed , along the same line. Let the acceleration of particle be 'a'
From equations of motion,
V = U+ at ----->(1)
Here,
V=-v (returning with same velocity)
U=v
So (1) become,
-v = v+at
at = -2v
a = -2v/t.
