Solution

The correct option is A Androstenedione
Testes are primary sex organs. These are referred to as male gonads and are responsible for the production of male sex hormones called androgens. Androstenedione, dehydroepiandrosterone, testosterone are androgenic hormones. The proper level of the androgenic hormones is maintained by the combined production of both testes. With one testis removed, the androgens will show a fluctuation or decrease in quantities in the blood.
Ovaries are female primary sex organs (gonads) responsible for the production of ova and female sex hormones called progesterone and estrogens. Estrone, estriol and estradiol are some of the estrogens.
Erythropoietin is produced by the kidneys’ juxtaglomerular cells and stimulates erythropoiesis (development of blood stem cells into mature RBCs).
Cholecystokinin is produced by the small intestine and it stimulates the release of pancreatic juice from the pancreas and the release of bile juice from the liver.
