W.D resistance $$=\Delta K.E$$

$$\vec{F}.\vec{S}=\dfrac{1}{2}mv^{2}_{final}-\dfrac{1}{2}mu^{2}_{initial}$$

$$\vec{F}.\vec{S}=-\dfrac{1}{2}mv^{2}$$

$$\Rightarrow -F.s=-\dfrac{1}{2}mv^{2}$$
