A bus travels $126 km$ in $3 hours$
A train travels $315 km$ in $5 hours$
The distances covered by the bus in one hour $= \frac{126}{3}$
$= 42 k m$
The distances covered by the train in one hour $= \frac{315}{5}$
$= 63 k m$
The ratio of distances covered by them in one hour $= \frac{42}{63}$ [Note: $HCF (42, 63)$ $= 21$ ]
$= \frac{2}{3} = 2 ˸ 3$
Hence, the ratio of distances covered by them in one hour is $2 ˸ 3 .$
