A takes 6 days & B takes 8 days. So, let the total work be LCM(6,8) = 24 Units

A -> 6 days = 4 Units/day (since 64=24)

B -> 8 days = 3 Units/day (since 83=24)

A + B =3+4= 7 Units/day

Thus, TOTAL TIME = 24/7 days
= 3+(3/7) Days (Answer)
