The correct option is A 7 m2
Total surface area of cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl)2(lb+bh+hl)=40m2lb+bh+hl=20m2(1)
lateral surface area of cuboid=2h(l+b)2h(l+b)=26hl+hb=13(2)
from (1) and (2), we get
lb+13=20lb=7m2
therefore area of base is 7m2.
