The correct option is C 69.35m3
The volume of a tank of height 16 m and diameter 23 m is given as, πr2h
Volume of tank =3.14×11.5×11.5×16=6644.24m3

If the surface raises by 1623 cm, then the new h=16 m +503cm =16+0.167=16.167 m
New volume is =3.14×11.5×11.5×16.167=6713.59m3
Hence, 6713,596644.24=69.35 cubic metres of water must be rushed into it to make the surface rise by 1623 cm.
