Pressure is the amount of force applied perpendicular to the surface of an object per unit area.

Mathematically:

$p={\frac {F}{A}},$

where:

is the pressure, is the magnitude of the normal force, is the area of the surface on contact.

Pressure is a scalar quantity

$P r e s s u r e = \frac{F o r c e}{A r e a}$
When Force is exerted on 10 $m^{2}$ area......
P = 200/10 = 20 Pa.
When force is exerted on 5 $m^{2}$ area........
P = 200/5 = 40 Pa.
