The correct option is D $$50 rev/sec$$
Given, Initial angular velocity, $$\omega_0= 100\ rev/s$$
Final angular velocity, $$\omega =0 \ rev/s $$
$$\therefore$$ Total number of revolution made by fan, $$\theta= \bigg(\dfrac{\omega+\omega_0}{2}\bigg)t=\dfrac{0+100}{2}\times 5\times 60=15000\ rev$$

$$\therefore$$ Average angular velocity in this interval,$$=\dfrac{15000}{5\times60}=50\ rev/sec$$
