Length of the room = 8 m

Breadth of the room = 6 m

Area of the room = 8 × 6 m2{Area of room = Area of tiles that are put on the floor of the room.}

= 48 m2

Area of one square tile = 0.8 m × 0.8 m= 0.64 m2

Number of tiles required = Area of floorArea of tiles

= 480.64

= 48 × 10064

= 75 tiles
For 1 tile, the cost of tiling is $7

For 7 tiles, the cost of tiling is $(7 × 75) = $525
