A force, when applied on a body, can:
change the shape and size of a non-rigid body.
change the speed of the moving body
change the direction of motion of the body.
A force can bring the following changes when applied to a body:
1) Change the direction of motion - Batsman hitting a ball.
2) Change the speed of the motion - A car speeds up when force is applied by the engine.
3) Change the shape and size of a non-rigid body - Force applied on paper sheet can change its shape and size.
A force cannot change the colour of the body.
