The correct option is C Each statement alone is sufficient

Answer = option (c)

Using statement (1) we can arrive at an equation x+3x=32. hence, the answer can be obtained based on statement 1 alone

Using statement (2) we can also arrive at the answer

20% 4 fruits

100% = 40020 = 20 fruits. Hence, using both statements individually, it is possible to arrive at the solution.
