Solution

Find the relative molar mass of the given gas

Relative Molar mass of the gas=Density ×R × TemperaturePressure

Temperature = 87C + 273 K= 360 K

Pressure = 380 mmHg760mmHg/atm = 0.5 atm

Volume = 360 ml = 0.360 L

Density = massvolume = 0.546 g0.360 L = 1.52g/L

Relative Molar mass of the gas=1.52 g/L ×0.0821 atm L/mol K × 360 K0.5 atm = 89.85 g/mol
