Solution

Given,
Weight of girl F=50 kgf=500 N
Heel of area of cross-section =1 cm2
Area of cross-section of both heels =1×2=2 cm2
Weighing of elephant =2000 kgf=20000 N
Area of cross-section of each foot =25 cm2
Area of cross-section all foots =25×4=100 cm2

Pressure exerted by girl Pgirl=FgirlArea=5002=250 N/cm2......... (1)

Pressure exerted by elephant Pelephant=FelephantArea=20000100=200 N/cm2 ........(2)

On comparing above two-equation, Girl will apply more pressure on the ground.
