Amount spilled out = Difference in volumes increased
Volume of mercury increased =VγΔT
1000×1.82×104×100
Increase in volume =18.2ml
Cubical Expansion coefficient =3× linear coefficient
Increase in capacity of glass =1000×3×10×106×100
Increase =3ml
Mercury spilled out =18.23=15.2ml
