Width of the hall room is $=18\text{m}$

Area of the hall room $=\text{length×breadth}$

$=28\times 18=504{\text{m}}^2$

Area of the hall room $=$ Area of the carpet

Here, width of the carpet $=0.75\text{m}$

So, length of the carpet $=\text{area÷width}$

$$\begin{gathered} =504÷0.75 \\ =\frac{504}{75}\times 100 \\ =\frac{504}{3}\times 4 \\ =168\times 4 \\ =672\text{m} \end{gathered}$$

Cost of carpeting per meter is $₹12.50$

Cost of carpeting $672\text{m}$ is $=672\times ₹12.50=₹8400$

Hence, cost of carpenting the floor is $₹8400$
