(a) Natural fibres are those fibres that are obtained from substances that come directly from nature like plants and animals. They are different from synthetic fibres as synthetic fibres are artificially obtained from chemical process.

(b) Cotton is obtained from the fruits of the cotton plant (cotton balls).

(c) Cotton, and silk are 2 examples of natural fibres. Nylon, and polyester are 2 examples of synthetic fibres.
