The correct option is A $7$
Let the number of days for which the laboured worked be $x$
Then the number of days he was absent are $(20 - x)$
According to given condition, we have
$60 \times x - (5) (20 - x) = 745$
$\Rightarrow 60 x - 100 + 5 x = 745$
$\Rightarrow 65 x = 845$
$\Rightarrow x = 13$
The labourer was absent for $(20 - 13) = 7$ days
