A man completed a trip of $136km$ in $8$ hours. Some parts of the trip was covered at $15km/hr$ and the remaining at $18km/hr$. Find the part of the trip covered at $18km/hr$.

Total distance =136 km T =8 hrs

Let distance covered at 18 km /hrs be x

then distance covered at 15 km / hrs be (136-x)

So $8=\frac{x}{18}+\frac{(136-x)}{15}$

$\Rightarrow 8\times 18\times 15=15x+2448-18x$

$\Rightarrow 3x=288$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{288}{3}=96km$
