Gain $=25\%$

Therefore, $C{P}_1=\frac{100}{100+\text{Gain}\%}\times SP$

$\Rightarrow C{P}_1=\frac{100}{100+25\%}\times 1000=Rs.800$

$S{P}_2$ of second sheet $=Rs.1000$

Loss $=20\%$

Therefore $C{P}_2=\frac{100}{100-\text{Loss}\%}\times SP$

Therefore, $C{P}_2=\frac{100}{100-20\%}\times 1000=Rs.1250$

Therefore, total $CP=800+1250=Rs.2050$ and total $SP=2\times 1000=Rs.2000$

As, $CP>SP$

Hence, total loss in the whole transaction $=2050-2000=Rs.50$
