Solution

The correct option is A

Rs. 105

Let "n" be the number of mats.

Base of the mat = 3 cm
Height of the mat = 4 cm

Area of the parallelogram (mat) = base × height

Area of the mat(which is a parallelogram) = The area of a parallelogram is the product of one side with the distance to the opposite side.

= 3 x 4 cm.

Area of hall = Area of mat × number of mats

180 = 3 x 4 x n

n=18012=15

Given that 1 mat costs = Rs. 7

Then, 15 mats cost = 7 x 15 = Rs.105
