Given,
4 litres of milk is mixed with 2 litres of water.

We know that
Litres of milk(x)Litres of water(y)
x1y1 = x2y2

Given,
x1= 4 litres
y1= 2 litres
x2= 20 litres
and y2= Number of litres of water needed
y2 = x2×y1x1
y2 = 20×24
y2=10 litres
Alternate:
4 litres of milk is mixed with 2 litres of water.
1 litres of milk is mixed with 24 litres of water.
20 liters of milk is mixed with 24×20 liters of water.
Amount of water that can be mixed with 20 liters of milk is 10 liters.
