We know that, the frequency always remains the same during reflection and refraction.

The frequency of the incident light is f=cλ
and cair=3×108 m s1 and λair=589 nm

Thus, fair=cairλair=3×108589×1095.1×1014 Hz

As the frequency doesn't change in reflection and refraction, freflected=5.1×1014 Hz

And, in reflection, the light comes back to the same medium. Thus, wavelength of light remains same i.e., λreflected=589 nm
