The correct option is D 2 & 3 only
As we know, like charges repel each other whereas unlike charges attract each other. Thus the light conducting ball can be positively charged.
Also we know, negative charge induces a positive charge on the facing surface of the neutral conducting ball and a negative charge on the opposite surface of the conducting ball which makes the ball to get attracted by the negative charged object. Hence ball can be neutral also.
Thus the conducting ball can be either positively charged or neutral, but cannot be negatively charged.
