Solution

The correct option is B $$4.0\ cms^{-2}$$
Velocity depends on time as, $$v(t)  = 2t$$ cm/s
$$\therefore$$    $$v\bigg|_{t =1  s}  = 2 \times 1  =2  cm/s$$
Radial acceleration of the particle at $$t  =1 s$$;  $$a_r  = \dfrac{v^2}{r}  = \dfrac{2^2}{1}  = 4$$  $$cm/s^2$$
