The correct option is B Range of the particle is greater than v2Hg
Given, u(vertical) = 0 u(hoirzontal)= v
For Time of Flight:
s = ut + gt22 (applying in vertical direction) (u = 0)
=> H = gt22
=> t = 2Hg

Now, for Range : We know F = ma
=> qE = ma => a = qEm
Now, s (horizontal) = s = ut + at22

=> R = v2Hg +qE2m2Hg


which is greater than v2Hg .
