The correct option is B 1 m
Let O represents the eye of the person standing between the two walls and M1M2 is the height of the mirror.


From the diagram shown in figure,
In Δ M1OO1 and Δ M1P1P2
tanθ=1.4h1d=h12d
2(1.4h1)=h1
h1=2.83 m
Similarly in Δ M2OO1 and Δ M2P3P4
tanϕ=1.6h2d=h22d
2(1.6h2)=h2
h2=3.23 m
Hence length of mirror:
M1M2=(height of wall)(h1+h2)
M1M2=3(3.23+2.83)
M1M2=1 m
Hence, option (b) is the correct answer.
