The correct option is D Let the velocity of projectile be u and projection angle be θ, then
Horizontal velocity =ucosθ
Velocity along vertical direction =usinθ−gxucosθ
So, velocity of a projectile at any instant of time (t) is v2=v2x+v2y=(ucosθ)2+(usinθ−gxucosθ)2 ⇒v2=u2cos2θ+u2sin2θ+g2x2u2cos2θ−2gxtanθ ∴KE=12mv2=12mu2−mgxtanθ+mg2x2u2cos2θ
