The area of road parallel to length is $75 \times 4 = 300 m^{2}$
The area of road parallel to breadth is $60 \times 4 = 240 m^{2}$
The area of road at middle is $4 \times 4 = 16 m^{2}$
The total aea covered by road is $300 + 240 - 16 = 324 m^{2}$
Cost of $1 m^{2}$ is $5.50$
Cost of $324 m^{2} = 5.50 \times 324 = 1782 R s .$
