Given: Length and breadth of the rectangular park is 35 m and 18 m

and length to be left = 2.5 m

⇒ Length of the rectangle to be covered with grass = 35 m – 2 × 2.5 m = 30 m

The breadth of the rectangle to be covered with grass = 18 m – 2 × 2.5 m =​ 13 m​​​​​​

Hence required area = 30 m × 13 m = 390 m2
