A rectangular park 60m long and 30m wide has two concrete crossroads running in the middle of the park and rest of the park has been used as a lawn. The area of the lawn is 1200 m2. What is the total area of the cross road?

Given that:
Area of lawn =1200 m2
Area of rectangular park =60×301800 m2

Now,
Area of rectangular park = Area of lawn + Area of cross road
Area of cross road =18001200600 m2.
Hence,
Total area of cross road =600 m2.
