Given : Base $= 2.6 m, h e i g h t = 1.7 m, h e i g h t o f p r i s m = 0.3 m$
We know that, Volume $= (b a s e \times \frac{h e i g h t}{2}) \times h e i g h t o f p r i s m$
$⟹ V = (2.6 \times \frac{1.7}{2}) \times 0.3$
$⟹ V = 0.663$
Thus, in order to buy enough sand to fill the box, we need $1$ cubic metre of sand.
