The correct option is A 30%
Let the $M . P = x$
then adding sales tax $\Rightarrow x + 10 % o f x = x + \frac{x}{10} = 1287 R s .$
$\Rightarrow \frac{11 x}{10} = 1287$
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{12870}{11} = R s .1170$
C.P of the article $= 800 + t r a n s p o r t a t i o n c o s t = 800 + 100 = R s .900$
Profit $= 1170 - 900 = 270 R s .$
Profit% $= \frac{270}{900} \times 100 = 30$ %
