Solution

1. The cost price of 12 pens =108

So, the cost price of one pen =10812=9.

Thus, the cost price of one pen =9.

2. the selling price of one pen =12.50

Since the selling price of a pen is more than the cost price, then, there is a profit.

Profit = selling price - cost price

Profit on selling one pen =12.50-9=3.50

Thus, profit on selling one pen =3.50.

3. The cost price of 12 pens =108

the selling price of 12 pens=12×12.50=150

Total profit on selling all pens =150-108=42

Hence, the total profit on selling all pens=42.
