A shopkeeper sells lemon juice. He fills  glasses from a big cylidrical container of height 35.2 cm  and radius 10 cm . He charges Rs. 10 for each glass of height 10cm and 4cm radius. The amount of money he earns by selling juice is(Take π= 227

Solution

Number of glasses of juice that are sold=volume of the vesselvolume of each glass

=(10×10×35.2)(4×4×10) (π will get cancelled)

= 22

Therefore, amount received by the shop keeper = Rs.10 × 22 = Rs.220.
