The correct option is D

Shear stress varies in parabolic shape across a rectangular cross section. Value at top and bottom is zero and maximum at neutral axis. Shear stress will be zero at A and will increase upto B parabolically. As the width in figure increase suddenly near B shear stress will decreases suddenly. Diagram will be symmetric about NA.
