The correct option is B motion of the strip is heavily damped.
As the copper strip moves across the perpendicular field, By Lenz's law an emf is induced and small circular current loops across the strip are formed that opposes the the change in flux. Therefore it experiences a force in a direction opposite to its motion. Due to this the motion of the pendulum is heavily damped.
