A] Time taken by train = $\frac{360}{x}$ hours.
(Ist case)
In II nd case the speed increase by 5 km/h
$\frac{360}{x + 5}$
So,
$\frac{360}{x} - \frac{360}{x + 5} = \frac{48}{60}$ hours
$360 (\frac{1}{x} - \frac{1}{x + 5}) = \frac{4}{5}$
$= 450 \times 5 = x^{2} + 5 x$
$= x^{2} + 5 x - 2250 = 0$
$∴ x = \frac{- 5 \pm 95}{2}$
$= - 50, 45$
