Solution

Answer :

we know Area of parallelogram = Base × Height
And
Area of triangle = 12×Base× Height
And as given : Triangle and a parallelogram are constructed on the same base .
So,
Let base of parallelogram = Base of triangle = b
And
If the altitude of the parallelogram is 100 m . So height of parallelogram = 100 m
Let
Altitude ( Height ) of triangle = h
And
Also given , Their areas are equal . So

12×b× h = b × 100h2 = 100h= 200
So,
Altitude of triangle = 200 m ( Ans )
