Length of room $=5.5m$

Width of room $=4m$

Area of room $=5.5\times 4=22m^2$

Now,

Width fo verandah $=2.25m$

Length of room with verandah $=5.5=2.25+2.25=10m$

Width of room with verandah $=4+2.25+2.25=8.5m$

Area of room including verandah $=10\times 8.5=85m^2$

Therefore,

Area of verandah $=$ Area of room including verandah $-$ Area of room

$\Rightarrow$ Area of verandah $=85-22=63m^2$

Cost of cementing the floor $=Rs.200$ per square meter.

Therefore,

Cost of cementing verandah $=200\times 63=Rs.12600$
