Question

A water tank is 3 m long, 2 m broad and 1 m deep. How many litres of water can it hold?


Solution

Length of tank (l) = 3 m
Breadth (b) = 2 m
and depth (h) = 1 m
Volume of tank = l×b×h
3×2×1=6m3
Qunatity of water it can contains
6×1000 liters=6000 liters 
(1m3=1000 liters)
