​ The method used by plants to get rid of excretory products are as follows:​ ​
  • The oxygen which is the end product of the photosynthesis gets removed through the stomata and the carbon dioxide which is produced during the process of respiration also gets removed through the stomata.​ ​
  • The excess of water gets removed through transpiration.​ ​
  • Some other wastes get removed along with dead cells like leaves and some waste products are stored in cellular vacuoles or stored as resins and gums, especially in old xylem.​
