Solution

A. Metals are generally shiny, malleable, and hard. Metals are also good conductors of electricity.
B. Alloys are mixtures of metal with other metals or non-metals. This process gives the material more desirable properties, such as increased hardness and lower melting points.
Ex :
1. Steel, a combination of iron (metal) and carbon (non-metal).
2. Bronze, a combination of copper (metal) and tin (metal).
3. Brass, a mixture of copper (metal) and zinc (metal).

C. The oxides formed by non-metals are acidic (or) neutral in nature whereas, metal oxides are always basic in nature.
