Question

According to OHMS law if voltage increases and resistance stays the same what happens to current

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,

Ohm's law states that the voltage of a circuit is directly proportional to the current flowing through it and inversely proportional to its resistance. V=IR
if the voltage is increased and resistance remains constant, the current will increase. Because voltage and current are directly proportional to each other and resistant is the same here so it will not affect proportionality.
