Given,
Total weight $= 10 k g$
Weight of onions $= 3 k g 500 g = 3.5 k g$ [ $1 k g = 1000 g$ ]
Weight of tomatoes $= 2 k g 75 g = 2.075 k g$ [To convert $g t o k g$ divide by $1000$ ]

Let weight of potato be $x$
$\Rightarrow 3.5 + 2.075 + x = 10$ [ $s u m o f a l l = 10 k g$ ]
$\Rightarrow 5.575 + x = 10$
$\Rightarrow x = 10 - 5.575$
$\Rightarrow x = 4.425$
$∴ x = 4 k g 425 g$
Thus, weight of potatoes $= 4 k g 425 g$
