  2. During Photosynthesis, plants use atmospheric CO2 and synthesize carbohydrates.
  3. When animals feed upon plant products, carbon enters the animal’s body. C, N, S, P, H, and O enters the living community through plants.
  4. Carbon comes through photosynthesis and nitrogen comes through the nitrogen cycle.
  5. Sulfur and Phosphorus are absorbed from the soil. We get hydrogen and oxygen through water.
