Solution

The correct option is B 4
Given : Total no. of passengers =9
Number of passengers speaks Kannada =5 and 2 can speak both Kannada and English.
So, there are 3 passengers who can speak only Kannada.
Suppose, the number of passengers who can speak only English is x
x= Total number of passengers(number of passengers who speak only Kannada + number of passengers who speaks both English and kannada).
x=9(3+2)=4
Hence, there are 4 passengers who can speak only English.
